Class felt new today.  Brought some of the "male-like teaching" from Saturday, focused and direct towards Visvamitrasana without actually doing it,  but also held in a feminine way.  Dharma was still on the question of "How are You?"

Ok, I'm new to blogging. I hope I'm doing this right.

Hi Kira - how are you? Ha. I was in your class yesterday (Monday). I can't tell you (and anyone else reading) how much I got out of the class.... but I'll try.

I came to the class with the answer to that question already. Before you asked How are you? I already had the whole drama down, ready to blow it up to its rightful proportions: Poor me, I'm so sore from carrying my baby all night and exhausted from not a wink of sleep after 1:30am. Besides that the car ride down with my baby, my 7 year old and husband was a nightmare. 4 hour ride took 6.5, both kids cried most of the time, husband grumpy, etc., etc....

But entering your class was like plunging into cool water where it was quiet, calm. I was whisked into a new perspective. The class was fun, my body felt so much better, my mind was happy. I felt the love for my two girls and for yoga and for this short vacation with my family. I left my family for your class a grumpy bear-barking at them, went back to them after class happy and positive and we had a great day and ride home.

Aside from that, I realized what a yoga rut I'd been in. Same old classes - mostly technical, dry. Yours brought yoga to life as it should be - a reflection of life, and a part of it. A place to play, a place to see myself as I am being in my life, a chance to transform.

Thanks so much! You are a gifted teacher, truly.
